Kenco’s Premium Roast and Ground Range 100% sourced from Rainforest Alliance Certified™ farms*

The Kenco Coffee Company's new range of roast and ground coffees sources 100% of its beans from Rainforest Alliance Certified™ farms. The move is part of Kenco’s sustainable sourcing journey initiated in 2004 when Kraft Foods, parent company of The Kenco Coffee Company, started its work with the Rainforest Alliance.

To earn the Rainforest Alliance Certified™ seal, farms must eliminate the use of the most dangerous pesticides, and reduce water pollution and soil erosion. These farms can contribute to local conservation initiatives through restoring wildlife habitat and preventing deforestation.

On Rainforest Alliance Certified™ farms, workers and their families are treated with respect and have access to clean water, medical care and education. Rainforest Alliance certification also helps to ensure a decent wage for workers.

While the move to 100% sustainable sourcing for Kenco’s roast and ground core range is a major step for the company, Kenco understands the importance of quality when serving coffee Away from Home. That’s why Kenco’s re-launched roast and ground range has been developed using only 100% Arabica beans because their aromatic and distinctive characteristics guarantee a superior taste..

The range of blends including Kenco Westminster Medium Roast, Kenco Sustainable Development Medium Dark Roast and Kenco Italia Dark Roast, are all created by Kenco’s coffee experts to meet the high expectations of today’s coffee drinks.

Kenco beans go through rigorous quality checks throughout their journey, from harvesting to roasting, blending and finally packing to ensure that they reach customers in perfect condition.
