Concept Evolution key to Chardfm's PFM Awards win

Congratulations to Chardfm on winning the i-FM e-Business award at the 2009 PFM Awards. Awarded in recognition of the integrated project solution represented in their Chardfm CAFM system, the project was developed by working in partnership with FSI (FM Solutions).

The Concept Evolution™ fully web-enabled CAFM solution from FSI (FM Solutions) Limited, Microsoft Gold partners, as at the heart of the project. Easily accessed through a standard web browser, Concept Evolution™ offers an extremely powerful, flexible and easy-to-use software platform that leverages the web to provide a single, integrated view of facilities and maintenance activities. By centralising data and processed throughout the facility management lifecycle, Concept Evolution™ provides a secure seamless flow of information across locations, divisions, operations, people and projects.
Concept Evolution™ makes critical operational data available on-demand to users in any location. It offers a single, holistic view of all facilities and maintenance activities, and can easily track every location, asset, and person; analyse the processes, costs, and efforts required for optimal operations; and understand the impact of acquisitions, utilisation, maintenance, improvements, service provision, and expenditures.

Further innovative providers and their technologies involved in the project are: eSquiggles data collection software from Pulsion Technology, web-based telecoms platform from Direct Call, vehicle monitoring tracker system from Swift Northgate, and mobile platform from Veecom Systems. The combination of Concept Evolution™ and these technologies produces the Chardfm CAfm system, for planning, management and tracking of FM services.
Chardfm CAfm allows clients to log calls online, by phone or a mobile device, whilst the helpdesk handles calls personally before virtually sending instructions wirelessly to multi-skilled technicians, connecting their geographical locations and skill-sets to the call. Technicians are provided with the necessary information: description of problem, relevant Health & Safety documentation, service history, asset data and graphical information enabling a streamlined and efficient response. Upon completion of the call, the technician closes the job with an on-site signature sending the report and documentation wirelessly back to the helpdesk team. Clients can track each stage of the process via the online digital dashboard, together with live KPI generation showing service levels.
