Single FM provider in UK for Barclays

11 November 2009

Johnson Controls Global WorkPlace Solutions (GWS) is to deliver expanded FM services to Barclays' 1,800 retail sites and 50 corporate buildings in the UK.

Operations will be consolidated into a single FM service provider for the Barclays UK portfolio by standardising the Johnson Controls GWS service model across all its properties. Johnson Controls GWS is now also the FM supplier of choice for Barclays’ properties globally. It has been providing services for Barclays in Spain and Italy since 2008, and later this year it will take control of over 900 retail and corporate facilities of ABSA, Barclays joint venture partner in South Africa.
Guy Holden, Vice President and General Manager, Johnson Controls GWS, said: “We are really pleased to build on our partnership with Barclays. It is also a testament to our industry leading capabilities in delivering the highest quality service on a global level. We look forward to working with Barclays in the UK and internationally.”
