Free workshop on sustainable operation of buildings

15 October 2009

London South Bank University in collaboration with ABS consulting and euroLEADERS has launched a series of workshops, with training and mentoring programmes to deliver energy and carbon improvements and cost savings.

To deliver the carbon and cost savings that will be demanded by government, stakeholders and end-users, technical excellence is only one essential ingredient. What is required is a process that optimises environmental, financial and social factors combined with engineering leadership and business acumen to manage the implementation of technical solutions and to sustain the benefits. The workshops are  aimed at providing additional skills for FMs and building services engineers that will reduce cost and environmental impact while enhancing  value for owners and occupiers and profit for contractors and consultants.
The first one day workshop entitled Cost, Energy and Carbon Savings through Facilities Management and Engineering Leadership for Existing and Future Buildings , is to be held next week on  Thursday 22 Oct 2009, at the  Keyworth Building, London South Bank University, London SE1 0AA.
