OCS wins catering for GLA

The Greater London Authority has awarded its contract for catering at City Hall Café and all on-site hospitality, London’s Living Room and the Café on Trafalgar Square to OCS.

Alex Fleming, Amenities Manager for the GLA, said, “We were impressed by OCS’ ‘can-do’ attitude, the quality of their food offering and their high standards of presentation through Eligo. As they shared many of our values, we felt they would be ideally placed to work in partnership with us as we drive forward our healthy eating and food sustainability strategies.”

A new salad and zest bar offer healthy and nutritious food to the staff at City Hall and many public visitors. The just deli is a modern high street influenced deli bar which includes hot food, retail lines and leading brands such as Costa Coffee. The Café on Trafalgar Square offers an all-day menu as well as hot and cold beverages and a fully licensed bar.

Eligo is experienced in serving some of London’s most discerning customers from the dining to boardroom table and recognises its responsibility to provide healthy, sustainable and nutritious food freshly prepared using natural ingredients, some of which are sourced locally. Balanced, planned and creative menus feature fresh seasonal produce and ethically sourced products and cater for a variety of cultures, tastes and dietary needs. Recycling is actively encouraged and just deli water supports Wells for India, a charity that helps to provide clean drinking water in Rajasthan.

The City Hall Café is open for staff and the public Monday to Friday 8 a.m – 6 p.m. The Café on Trafalgar Square is open 7 days a week from 10.00 a.m – 8.00 p.m and is available for private hire. London’s Living Room is situated on the top floor of City Hall and offers a modern minimalist style coupled with spectacular views across London. It is a perfect setting for drinks receptions for up to 250 standing guests and dinners for up to 100 seated guests.
