PHS Teacrate acquires GB Nationwide Crate Hire

PHS Teacrate, the UK’s largest crate supplier, has acquired the second biggest supplier, GB Nationwide, from owners Crown Records Management in a deal that increases its market share to 60 percent.

PHS Teacrate will be integrating GB Nationwide’s customers and staff into their existing operation across nine service centres. The 19 GB staff, have been given the opportunity to transfer to Teacrate locations, and a significant proportion have already done so. Teacrate will not be acquiring GB’s six service centres and vehicle fleet, which will be retained by Crown Records Management.

The move to Teacrate will offer ex-GB customers a number of benefits including:

Access to a wider product range including crates, handling equipment and packaging
Next day delivery as standard on all products if ordered before 5pm
Free access to ‘Cratelink’ the online tracking and ordering system
UK wide coverage and product availability through 9 strategically located and fully stocked depots
Continued investment in new product and service development to meet customer requirements
