SAVORTEX LAUNCHES THE WORLD’S GREENEST HAND DRYER

20 August 2009

SAVortex Limited, a world-leading manufacturer and supplier of hand and body dryers, has launched The Vortex hand dryer, a unique patented spinning air technology dryer. The Vortex technology breaks up water droplets on the skin accelerating drying times.

This dryer delivers low cost, fast, quieter drying in a longer life unit. The regenerative
heating technique replaces the conventional heating elements found in the majority of
today’s hand dryers. The Vortex does not use heating elements and therefore requires
minimum energy consumption; saving money as well as reducing the impact on the
environment.
The Vortex hand dryer produces the industry’s lowest heat emissions. This reduces not
only a company’s electricity bill but also decreases strain on air-conditioning, increasing
over-all carbon efficiency; the Vortex is the lowest carbon foot-print dryer in its class and
is fully compliant with the WEEE directive.
The hi tech aluminium casing is coated with an anti bacterial layer for hygiene and the
substantial benefits of a drip less floor creates an easier to clean washroom as well as
improving hygiene standards.
With exposure to over 90dB carrying a risk to your hearing, noise levels were a serious
consideration when developing this product. The Vortex is the quietest in its range
operating at a mere 80dB; four times quieter than those operating at 90 or 100 dB.
At 90dB the sound energy is ten times that of 80dB and at 100dB it’s 100 times! The
difference is the same as that between a dial tone on your phone and an underground
train at 200 yards.
The company is introducing this revolutionary new hand dryer to commercial companies
and significant interest has already been secured by some large blue-chip organisations
looking to purchase green efficiency products and achieving overall cost savings to their
