PHS GROUP ANNOUNCES EXCLUSIVE ''NO-GERMS'' DISTRIBUTION AGREEMENT WITH ADVANCED FORMULATIONS (EUROPE) LTD

PHS Washrooms has become the exclusive washroom services provider of NO-GERMSTM alcohol free hand sanitiser, the UK’s leading product in this category.

PHS Group plc has become the away-from-home distributor of NO-GERMS alcohol free hand sanitiser, the UK’s leading product in this category, and the exclusive distributor of its 5 Litre format. The move by PHS follows the continued demand from customers, across a wide range of sectors, whose preference is for an alcohol free hand sanitiser option rather than an alcohol based product.

PHS is the only company to be able to offer NO-GERMS as a serviced product through market-leading washrooms services division PHS Washrooms, as well as NO-GERMS in 25ml, 210ml and exclusively the 5 Litre format through its workplace consumables arm PHS Direct.

NO-GERMS enhances PHS core range of hand care products as well as forming part of a range of pandemic swine flu protection products available from PHS. This range incorporates serviced products such as Biozone air sterilisation unit, hand sanitisers and antibacterial soap, as well as workplace consumable products including tissues, face masks, surface sanitisers and antibacterial wipes.

The rise in demand for an alcohol free hand sanitiser comes from many sectors including the education sector where alcohol based hand sanitisers are generally not accepted due to their flammable nature or potential to poison. In addition, as NO-GERMS is alcohol free, it is suitable for frequent use unlike some alcohol gels that have the potential to dry and damage the skin.

Importantly, PHS hand sanitiser dispensers are also made with SteriTouch® antibacterial surface protection which kills bacteria including MRSA and E-coli, ensuring that there are no germs on the outside of the unit as well as NO-GERMS on the inside.
