New from Assmann Büromöbel is the ergonomic Canvaro desking programme, first shown at Orgatec last year and now on display at the company’s new London showroom in Clerkenwell.

This slender C-leg programme is visually appealing, whilst incorporating all the functional elements required for ergonomic desks. Canvaro includes both standard workstation solutions with manual height adjustment and ergonomic sit/stand desks with electronic adjustment, both complying with the new draft EU standard DIN pr EN 527/1. The standard Canvaro desks are adjustable from 620 to 860 mm, whilst the sit/stand desks, offer a working height adjustment from 650 to 1250 mm, which fulfils the new draft EU standard.

Says Charles E. Abegg, Export director, “According to many studies, the commonest health problems at work are back pain and muscular tension; and these often lead to prolonged absence. With Canvaro, Assmann offers a solution that is not only ergonomically correct, but also attractive and unobtrusive, as well as being cost-effective.”

Canvaro includes a choice of desk top shapes, conference extensions, connecting elements/links and meeting tables, available in a range of finishes.
