DULUX TRADE UNVEILS NEXT GENERATION PAINT SPECIFICATION TOOL

06 March 2009

Dulux Trade is set to transform specifying its products with the launch
of online tool DuSpec 2.0, designed to make professional paint
specifications quicker, easier, and best of all, free!

DuSpec 2.0 is the next generation in paint specification, enabling
specifiers to seamlessly create and customise professional paint
specifications online and to share these effortlessly with clients and
colleagues. It boasts superior search functionality, meaning that
specifiers can find the right painting systems quickly and easily. New
colour reference inclusion, which enables specifiers to select and check
the colour notation, helps preserve the colour choice from specification
to application.

DuSpec 2.0 has been developed following extensive consultation with UK
specifiers. The new functionality helps specifiers create professional
paint specifications quickly and more efficiently, from saving projects
for future reference, to logical filtering, quick comprehensive searches
and the option to add specifiers' own branding and logos. Clauses are
added in automatically, which saves time, along with new functionality
in the "My Home" area which enables users to organise their projects and
save their most used paint systems and products - allowing for the
creation of a personalised library of frequently-used resources.

Martha James, Senior Marketing Manager for Commercial Markets at Dulux
Trade, said: "This is a groundbreaking and exciting new era for DuSpec
that we know will make a considerable and tangible difference in helping
our customers specify our products more quickly and easily. For example,
colour notations are now included which help customers select and check
their colour choice as they build their specification.

"The launch of DuSpec 2.0, with additional sharing and search
functionality, cements our position as the innovative market leader that
understands what our customers need - specification services that can
help them do their jobs quicker and more easily. Best of all, DuSpec 2.0
is available 24/7, giving access to projects from any PC around the
world, all for free."
