Antaro desking programme. Designed to be flexible well into the future. New from Assmann Büromöbel is the Antaro desking programme, first shown at Orgatec last year and to be on display at the company’s new London showroom in Clerkenwell by early March.

Antaro allows for an extensive range of furnishing options and is designed to accommodate a wide range of standards and requirements. The choice of materials means that any area, from secretary's desk to conference rooms to executive suite, can be furnished appropriately and without having to dispense with the functions and facilities of a professional workplace. The polished aluminium finishes on the round or square legs (depending on the version) of the Antaro desk shine under the desktop. Also available is a desktop in a lighter effect that makes the work surface appear to float. A further feature is the tube-in-tube height adjustment for the desk.

"Of course, we have a wide range of veneer and decorative surfaces and frame colours available for specific designs for the various hierarchy levels," adds Gerd Lauszus, director of Assmann's product management, describing the flexibility of the new desking programme. Antaro desks can also be fitted with modesty panels, equipment holders, organisation screens and many other adaptations to achieve the optimum workplace.

Antaro desks can be adapted to the user's individual requirements at any time. Furthermore, the programme has been designed to be compliant with the draft EU standard DIN EN 527/1, which stipulates individual desk height adjustment between 620mm and 850mm. This guarantees that the decision-maker will have a flexible workplace that will continue to meet legislative requirements in the future.
