Harrow Green first to get relocation quality mark UK-wide

Workplace change provider and relocation specialist Harrow Green is the first company to achieve PAS126 certification across its entire UK network of offices. Certification was awarded to the company’s Glasgow , the last of Harrow Green’s offices to be assessed.

Publicly Available Standard 126 (PAS 126) is a quality accreditation designed specifically for the commercial moving industry. The PAS 126 standard has been drawn up with the backing of the British Association of Removers with the involvement of the BSI and input from a number of industry sectors including facilities management and insurance as well as the Removals Industry Ombudsman. It is intended to be the benchmark requirement for any organisation wishing to be a member of BAR’s Commercial Moving Group (BAR-CMG).

Harrow Green’s operating procedures were subjected to rigorous independent assessment to verify they were effective in providing consistent quality of service to customers. The company also has ISO9001 accreditation across all of its locations.

PAS 126 covers all forms of relocation service, no matter what means of transport and handling is being used, or the type of property being moved, and whatever the type of customer organisation. It includes office-based property as well as industrial and manufacturing, government bodies and others. It is expected that the standard will be become a full British Standard within 6 to 12 months.
