Model 404

14 November 2008

The chair program 404 / 404 F, designed for THONET by Stefan Diez, is now in full production.

The method of construction, using no mechanical fixings, of bonding all the components has resulted in a unique design of exceptional strength. The use of some of the latest advances and technology in adhesives and bonding techniques has created joints of greater strength than the wood components themselves.

The shaped seat and back of flowing contours not only result in chairs of exceptional comfort but also add to the visually striking design of the 404.

The narrower version without armrests, model 404, which has now been added to the range, as well as the matching tables model 1404 in the dimensions 180 x 90 cm, 90 x 90 cm, and 120 cm diameter, complete the product family.
