SMARTER SUSTAINABILITY MANAGEMENT

The new Smart Sustainability Management module from Integrated fm provides a web-based, online view of sustainability and other CSR issues, including environment, community, supply chain and stakeholders. It is very easy to use and requires no training.

Combining a ‘digital dashboard’ overview with comprehensive drill down functionality, Smart Sustainability Management enables FMs and estates managers to harvest data from a wide range of different systems. Using Integrated fm’s Smart technology the information is then converted to a common format for quick and easy analysis and report generation. All data processed by the system is in line with AA1000 standards.

As such, the module has the ability to empower businesses to make informed decisions, reduce risks and control costs, as well as improving the quality, breadth, accuracy and timeliness of reporting.

For example, if someone in London is planning a meeting in Manchester they may want to better understand the implications of driving or flying, or whether video conferencing is a better option. In most organisations, the information required to make an informed decision is not readily accessible. With Smart Sustainability Management that information such information can be made available to anyone who needs it.

Similarly, Smart Sustainability Management could be used to make relative comparisons between different workgroups – for example to identify if any groups appear to be driving more business miles than others. If there is no obvious reason, this can then be further investigated.

These are just a couple of examples of how the system can work. Its scope is really only limited by the data available.
