New hires and promotion announced at EyeMed UK

EyeMed UK, a leading provider of vision care benefits and division of EssilorLuxottica, has announced the promotion of Alok Machchhar to Commercial Director of International Partnerships, Products and Networks for the UK, EMEA, APAC and LATAM, and named Ben Reynolds as its new Director of Sales.

He has been instrumental in developing and driving forward our vision care benefits offering, and this focus will remain just as integral going into his new role,” said Lyn Hodges, Managing Director at EyeMed UK. “Alok’s deep experience in the vision care industry will further support our ability to deliver against our key priorities and ambitious growth plans.”

With more than two decades of experience in the vision care industry, Alok has a proven track record of developing and managing strategic partnerships, delivering innovative solutions, and enhancing customer satisfaction and loyalty. In his new role, Alok will be responsible for the global expansion and growth of EyeMed’s vision insurance products and services.

Alongside the promotion of Machchhar, EyeMed UK has appointed Ben Reynolds as its new Director of Sales. With over 15 years of experience in sales and business development, Ben has consistently demonstrated his ability to drive growth and exceed sales targets. Prior to joining EyeMed, Ben held various senior positions in the employee benefits industry, including UKIMEA Partnerships Manager at Virgin Pulse and Sales Director at Reframe. His vast experience and commitment to delivering exceptional customer experiences align perfectly with EyeMed UK's mission to provide high-quality bespoke vision care solutions to employers.

As Director of Sales, Ben will be responsible for leading and growing the sales team, developing strategic partnerships with employers and consultants, and driving revenue growth. His focus on building strong customer relationships and understanding their unique needs will be instrumental in furthering EyeMed UK's position as a trusted provider of vision care services in the UK.

EyeMed’s safety solutions provider, INFIELD Safety, has also appointed Kevin Bellerby as its new Sales Manager. Kevin brings a wealth of experience in sales and a deep understanding of industrial services, making him a valuable asset to the Infield Safety team. Kevin’s appointment marks an exciting chapter in the company's journey toward expanding access to high-quality safety eyewear solutions and vision care in Europe.
