PTSG gets a sweet result

Henry Tate founded the Thames Refinery in London’s East End in 1878, specialising in cube sugar. In 2010 the company became part of ASR (American Sugar Refining) Group, a global group of sugar companies with brands and operations in many countries.

The European businesses have approximately 1,300 direct and contract employees (inc. shares in joint ventures) manufacturing sugar at our three refineries and associated manufacturing sites. The cane sugar supply chain which supplies them stretches across the world. The business focuses principally on bringing speciality sugars and functional ingredients made from sugar cane to the EU marketplace.

In this contract, engineers from PTSG Electrical Services Ltd delivered a test and inspection of the lightning protection system in place at the company’s site in East London. The client praised PTSG’s professionalism and willingness to explain the reasonings behind the results of the test.
