Mailsource opens office in Ireland

10 October 2008

The new office, MailSource Ireland, will be initially supported by the UK company to complement, consolidate and build upon its success across the UK and Europe.

MailSource is expanding its business into Ireland. Commenting on the move, Markus J Becker, CEO of MailSource UK, explained: “We are seeing an increase in opportunities due in part to the number of companies that have expanded to Ireland over the past few years. We see a strong growth market in Ireland and also the chance to support existing clients who have decided to move there, or who are considering it. This expansion further consolidates our strategy of being able to provide our customers with service capability across Europe, Asia and the United States”

Christina Banahan, MailSource Ireland Area Manager, believes that the company’s knowledge of its market will set it apart from competitors as it expands, and said: “This is an exciting opportunity for MailSource to secure a loyal customer base here in Ireland as it continues to deliver its services to new and existing clients. We know that there are subtle differences between the UK and the Irish marketplaces and with our team of experts we are well placed in both countries to provide consistent and excellent service whilst fully understanding the needs of each market.”

MailSource, part of Swiss Post Solutions, employs over 1200 people across the UK and Ireland, operating 150 mailrooms and near and off-shore document processing centres, servicing over 150 clients. Whilst priding itself as a specialist in a market focused upon the provision of outsourced mailroom and document services, MailSource has evolved to provide a comprehensive set of synergistic services to clients.

Initially supported by the UK business, MailSource Ireland will provide mailroom management solutions, digital mailroom, archive management, business process outsourcing, supplier management and a number of other services to its clients. Becker believes the company is in the perfect position to take advantage of UK and Irish business needs for efficient and cost effective mailroom services, now more than ever. He said: “We aim to continue growing MailSource in the UK and Ireland in order to support our clients as their businesses evolve. We invest heavily in our products and processes ensuring that we continue to deliver substantial value and tangible savings to our clients; a factor which is greatly appreciated by our clients who are operating in very difficult trading conditions.”
