As the result of progressive expansion and extra staff, the noted specialist security group Golden Shield is en route to smart new premises in Eltham, south London – having grown out of its base for many years in nearby Woolwich.

This has all come about by virtue of the Golden Shield mission since incorporation in 1989 of offering all manner of physical and electronic security – across all sectors as diverse as commercial, banking and finance, retail, all aspects of the public sector and tourism. And as well as the UK, the company is enjoying major success in Africa and the Middle East. Golden Shield was one of the first companies to achieve the prestigious Approved Contractor Scheme (ACS) status in 2008. It is a member of the International Professional Security Association (IPSA) and has recently been vetted by the British Security Industry Association (BSIA) for membership.
