The contract, which represents a second year of service from PTSG to both the Ministry of Justice and the Home Office, includes the following:

• Fall arrest testing – engineers from PTSG Access & Safety Ltd will carry out testing of equipment to enable operatives to safely access the façade of government buildings in order to carry out maintenance services

• Electrical compliance testing – engineers from PTSG Electrical Services Ltd will perform fixed wire testing within government buildings to ensure it is safe and compliant with Electricity at Work Regulations (EaWR) 1989

• Lightning protection testing – engineers from PTSG Electrical Services Ltd will carry out testing and inspection in systems to ensure that buildings and users remain safe in the event of an electrical storm

The Ministry of Justice is a ministerial department of the British Government headed by the Secretary of State for Justice and Lord Chancellor.

The Home Office is responsible for immigration, security, and law and order. As such, it is responsible for policing in England and Wales, fire and rescue services in England, visas and immigration, and the Security Service.

PTSG has delivered a multitude of projects for government departments since it was formed 14 years ago.
