02 February 2021

The HE Simm Group – one of the leading family owned and operated engineering and services businesses – has made a major appointment to facilitate the growth of its Integrated Services Division.

Sean Carrol has joined as Managing Director to lead and grow its newly formed hard Facilities Management (FM) offering.

Sean’s previous roles include regional Directorships and Head of Sales for FTSE 250 leading FM businesses. As a result, he brings over 25 years specialist experience of delivering multifaceted and complex projects in technical services and Hard FM.

Sean will form part of the organisations’ Senior Leadership Team. Reporting to the Managing Director of the Integrated Services Division – Barry Juggins.

He is tasked with securing, growing and cultivating opportunities in the industry in line with the company’s overall strategic plan – part of which is to grow its Integrated Services Division to 25 per cent of the Group’s total revenue by 2026.

Gareth Simm, CEO, for the HE Simm Group, comments: “Our Facilities Management workstream is going to be a hugely important aspect of our organisation, and with recent market changes, developing this offering – with dedicated specialists attached to it – is the most effective way to scale this unit.

"It will allow us to deliver a world-class service that customers expect, with the quality they deserve. “Sean has an exceptional capability in providing bespoke FM solutions for customers.

"He has decades of operational experience too and is therefore the ideal person to be leading our Facilities Management business unit for the future.”

Sean Carroll, Managing Director of HE Simm Group’s new Hard FM arm, adds: “I am thrilled to be bringing my experience to the HE Simm Group and, working with Barry and the wider team, to helping develop this new business offering.

“There’s significant opportunity to create a truly excellent service for both new and existing customers, and I firmly believe we are uniquely placed to deliver on that.”

Companies within the HE Simm Group work for customers UK-wide, in sectors including residential, hotels & leisure, student accommodation, education, healthcare, public sector and commercial.
