Lita Group restructures its senior team following successful brand refresh

30 November 2020

Leading UK cleaning and facilities management company, Lita Group, has restructured its senior team following its recent brand refresh.

As part of an ongoing strategy to strengthen its specialist divisions for the benefit of customers, a number of key internal appointments have been made.

Firstly, Ed Walker, who joined Lita Group 13 months ago, has taken on the remit of Head of Sales across the company’s four specialist areas of FM & cleaning services, vending solutions, PPE supplies and catering.

Ed has considerable experience, with a career history that spans 40 years, working for the likes of Securitas, Interserve and Salisbury Group.

Working alongside him in their own specialist fields will be Danny Peat and Julia Merella, covering FM and cleaning and vending respectively.

Danny will lead FM and cleaning as General Manager. Danny joined Lita Group 12 years ago and has since led the growth of the division, bringing on board new clients in numerous sectors including industrial and education.

Julia, who continues in her role as Senior Sales Consultant will work alongside Ed, with a refreshed focus on the vending solutions division – VendPlus.

Julia has 30 years’ loyal service under her belt and her knowledge of the industry is second to none. At a time when vending customers are looking for innovative solutions to ensure users can vend safely, Julia will give customers the peace of mind they need.

In his remit as Head of Sales for the Group, Ed will work closely with this wider team to deliver the strategic and commercial objectives of the business.

He will also lead the PPE Supplies division, which has seen unprecedented growth since the advent of Covid-19.

He says of the changes: “Lita Group is an exceptional group of companies and I’m extremely proud to be playing a major role in the next phase of its ongoing success story.

“The recent rollout of the brand refresh has been well received by our customers and we hope these changes in our team only confirm our commitment to providing specialist services and teams that align to their requirements.”

Chris Holder, HR Director for Lita Group, adds: “We fully believe in the new structure and in the team tasked with taking our businesses forward.

Ed, Danny and Julia are experts in their fields and their focus on customer service will ensure that together they deliver our ambitious strategic and commercial objectives for the long-term.”

Established in 1969, Lita Group delivers cleaning and FM, vending and catering solutions for clients across numerous sectors, including manufacturing, transport, commercial and education.
