PFM Awards gains independent Trust Mark verification for second year

07 October 2020

Recognition for the quality and integrity of the PFM Partnership Awards has been provided for the second successive year by the Independent Awards Standards Council.

This supports and verifies the statements made concerning all aspects of the FM industry's favourite awards event, particularly the independent judging process.

Last year saw the Awards Trust Mark certificate presented to the PFM team at the networking event held in London in September 2019.

Due to the ongoing Coronavirus pandemic, it has not been possible to hold live networking events, which has seen the PFM Partnership Awards presentation evening move to 17 March, 2021.

However, the Trust Mark certificate has been presented to the PFM team electronically and is available to share with interested parties.

The PFM Partnership Awards event is the only one of its kind to qualify for Trust Mark accreditation and one of the few among a large number of similar trade initiatives.

In addition to recognition of the wealth of information provided by its dedicated website, www.pfmawards.co.uk, special mention has been made by the Independent Awards Standards Council for the quality of the long-established judging process.

This traditionally sees the awards' judging teams, which mainly consist of independent FMs, arrange personal visits to the sites of each Partnership finalist and travelling the length and breadth of the UK.

Due to the emergence of the Covid-19 virus this year, however, all interviews have been conducted via online video calls as the best alternative method.

The Awards Trust Mark certificate is valid for the next 12 months and is further evidence of the continuing drive to maintain high standards of quality and integrity in all aspects of the PFM Partnership Awards.

This year sees the PFM Awards celebrate 27 years of recognising the best examples of partnership working within the FM sector.
