PFM Partnership Awards 2020 update

With the FM industry continuing to adapt to the current situation relating to the Covid-19 outbreak, the PFM team is also monitoring how this will impact this year’s PFM Partnership Awards.

At present, entries to the PFM Partnership Awards are required to be submitted by 13 May and entrants are advised to aim for this date.

However, in order to allow for delays caused by the current conditions, those requiring more time are asked to ensure that their entry form and 250-word summary are emailed by 13 May.

The entry will then be registered and allow more time for the full 1500-word submission to be emailed at a later date.

It has been agreed with the independent judging panel that interviews with finalists will be conducted via video conference calls or similar, to comply with travel and personal contact restrictions.

If the government confirms that these requirements can be relaxed during the judging process, which runs from June until September, the judges will then be invited to discuss visiting the sites in question.

Partnering with the Macmillan charity has also been confirmed, the first time in the PFM Awards’ 27-year history that it has included a charity partner.

Attendees to the evening of celebration on 4 November will be invited to make either cash or credit card donations and those unable to attend the event will also be able to donate online.
