Pickfords win safety 'gold'

Pickfords is celebrating its prestigious RoSPA ‘Presidents Award’, achieved as a result of achieving RoSPA’s Gold Award for ten consecutive years.

Managing Director Kevin Pickford was presented with the ‘Presidential Award’ for Occupational Health and Safety 2008. As a Gold Award winner for the past ten years Pickfords has demonstrated; a well developed occupational health and safety management system, an outstanding control of risk and a rigorous approach to occupational health.

Every year RoSPA invites companies and orgnaisations of all sizes and a whole spectrum of industries to enter the awards process. Pickfords was the only Removal and Storage Company to be honored with this prestigious award in May.

Managing Director Kevin Pickford remarked, “I am delighted to receive the President’s Award, which highlights the high levels of performance in this crucial area. My thanks to our Health and Safety team and our employees across the country who have demonstrated such a great commitment to continuously improve our health and safety management.”
