PFM and IFMA partner with The Facilities Event

30 January 2019

Activities around The Facilities Event 2019 are continuing to be announced, the latest of which are partnerships with the IFMA and PFM Magazine.

In addition to its own stand at the event, which runs from 9 to 11 April at the NEC Birmingham, the IFMA UK chapter will be staging networking events and running seminar sessions, the details of which will be announced in due course.

IFMA UK chapter director Dave Wilson described the event as "the UK's leading exhibition within the FM industry and one we were eager to support.

"We look forward to seeing our members there," said Mr Wilson.

Two seminar sessions will also be presented by PFM on the subject of the PFM Awards, featuring three of the 2018 judging panel and an overview of last year's Overall Winner Dentons with Partnerships Matter.

The latter will see two of the Partnerships Matter initiative's co-directors explaining the concept and its many achievements.

It was described by the PFM Awards judges as providing a model that should be adopted across the entire industry, allowing clients and service providers to provide benefits for the community through close collaboration.

The first PFM Awards session will see consultant Joanna Lloyd Davies, BDO's Satvir Bungar and MARSH FM Mayur Patel describing their experiences of judging the PFM Awards.
