FMA restructures organisation as it grows membership

The FMA (Facilities Management Association) has restructured its organisation in response to a 38% growth in membership during the past 12 months. .

The new structure will enable the FMA to deliver an enhanced range of services and benefits for its rapidly growing membership.

Included on the new FMA executive will be John Ellis in the role of President with Taylor Woodrow Director, Richard Sykes, as elected Chairman.

Sub-committees will sit beneath the FMA executive to focus on the matters of key importance for the Association. Additional resource will be available for Director General, Maurice Tidy and Secretary, Mary Taffler.

Chairman, Richard Sykes confirmed that the FMA’s exclusive membership of the CBI’s Trade Association Council would continue. This provides a unique conduit to government and industry for FMA members. Plans to expand the current 250+ membership of the FMA’s Young Manager Forum are also being introduced. Currently the FMA is looking for entries for the 2008 Young Manager of the Year Award.
