Create a new workspace with a free fit-out guide

16 August 2018

A workspace interiors company has launched a free fit-out guide to help businesses reduce the time, money and stress of refurbishing or relocating their workspace.

The Rhino Fit-out Guide has been written by a team of experts from Midlands-based Rhino Interiors Group, which delivers workplace consultancy, design, fit-out and furniture for businesses around the UK.

The guide is aimed at companies which are planning a new workspace project. Divided into nine easy-to-read sections, the comprehensive, 38-page handbook covers everything a business needs to know for creating a new workspace, whether it’s a refurbishment or a relocation.

The topics range from how to plan and design a new office space, to managing the project and finalising the budget. It also includes information on legal compliance, business continuity and measuring success both now and in the future.

Each section provides advice, resources and top tips from Rhino’s experts. It also includes 15 checklists of all the tasks which need to be covered off at each step of the process to help businesses make the transition from one workspace to another as seamless and as stress-free as possible.

The Rhino Fit-out Guide has been written for facilities managers, office managers, project managers and any other professionals given the task of heading up an office refit or move.

Research shows that on average, two out of three employees who are given the task of managing an office relocation are fired or quit within six months of the move, suggesting there is currently insufficient support out there for people undertaking workspace projects.

Adrian Dearnley from Rhino, said: “Refitting your office or moving to another one is a big undertaking and one which can be overwhelming, particularly if you’ve never done it before and don’t know what’s involved.

"To help businesses out, we’ve pooled 40 years of experience in creating workspace interiors for our clients into one simple do-it-yourself guide to help companies successfully navigate the process and avoid the pitfalls.”

Rhino helps businesses future-proof their offices, improve productivity and reduce real estate costs through smart design, creative fit-outs and the latest innovations in workspace furniture.

The company is based in Coventry and recently opened a second office on Birmingham’s Colmore Row.
