EMS changes to Elementus to reflect broader scope of services

After 22 years , the safety and environmental consultancy EMS - Environmental Monitoring Services - has changed its name to more faithfully reflect the diversity of services it delivers across the built environment.

Unveiled at this week in London, the new name Elementus and its new distinctive logo, have been incorporated across the company's brand from lapel badges and business cards to their website and publications.

MD Paul Foxcroft stressed that the valued independent and personal service which characterised Elementus above its rivals will remain at the core of the business. The name change will, he said, "Better reflect who we are, what we do and how we do it."

"In 1986 when it was formed, EMS was conceived as an independent consultancy offering practical, straightforward and personal advice. This philosophy still forms the basis of the company today and the new brand more clearly conveys this. Elementus maintains our original pioneering attitude by leading the way in new and growing areas such as energy, corporate social responsibility and sustainability. With its unique customer-friendly, can-do culture, Elementus is looking forward to the next 20 years."
