€1bn pan–European Total FM contract provides foundation for Faceo LMBO

24 April 2008

Faceo has signed a six- year Total FM contract with a market leading defence business that extends across eight countries and 90 locations. The contract provides a firm foundation Faceo's business across Europe following the recent completion of its LMBO.

The contract involves Total FM service provision to over 6m sq ft of property providing accommodation solutions for over 60,000 staff working across Europe, including corporate head offices, commercial premises, manufacturing plants and remote sites. The services will be managed in each country with Key Account Directors managing and developing the relationship from a strategic and operational perspective. The contract delivers guaranteed savings over the period of the contract and is a strategic pan European partnership.

The contract is an extension of a Europe wide FM contract with this client with additional services in each country being added to the contract over the next few years. It is developed under a Master Service agreement and the specific country legal and operational requirements are allowed for within the framework. The country specific parts of the contract are negotiated locally and the European Management teams ensure that the framework is implemented in the same manner in each country, thus enabling co-operative cross border management and a true Pan European Partnership to develop and grow.

The Directors of the Facilities Management Group Faceo FM have also recently announced that they have secured funding from APAX Partners SA to acquire the business from its previous shareholders. This Leveraged Management Buy Out (LMBO) will enable the business to further develop its market share with its proven capabilities of saving cost whilst improving service delivery. Faceo has the ability to offer true pan-European FM services and solutions to be structured and delivered from within the €380 million turnover group, delivered directly by Faceo staff in over 10 countries.

The Group was formed in 2000 and has achieved double digit growth year on year. Clients include leading commercial, Industrial, utility and government organisations across Europe. The Group specialises in managing and delivering total FM accommodation solutions through innovative teams of high caliber people.
