Sale of Thermotech announced by Foresight Group

29 May 2018

Stockport-based Thermotech has been sold to a new owner, the Foresight Group has announced.

It had owned the Thermotech business since August 2013, when it made an investment of £2.5m, according to Manchester Evening News.

It has been sold to the newly-formed Atalian Servest group for an undisclosed sum,

Thermotech provides a variety of specialist hard service operations, including the design, installation and servicing of air conditioning and fire sprinkler systems.

Mainly operating in the retail, commercial and residential property sectors, its clients include Marks & Spencer, John Lewis and Selfridges & Co.

Having doubled its staff numbers to more than 90 in the last five years, Thermotech recently moved into hew headquarters in Cheadle.

The purchase will add more hard service capability to its new owner's developing FM business, which includes the Arthur McKay building services division.

Recently formed itself following the acquisition of Servest by Atalian, the company has also announced the acquisition of Unique Catering and Management Services, based in Warwick.

The company provides a range of fully-managed cafe and bar management services and was formed in 2000.

No financial details of the two purchases have been announced by Atalian Servest.
