BIFM and BSA agree strategic partnership

05 March 2008

The BIFM and the Business Services Association (BSA) have agreed a strategic partnership. The agreement will see the two organisations working together in areas of mutual interest including such as training and skills, outsourcing, standards in public services, business continuity and PPP/PFI.

BIFM Chief Executive Ian Fielder said: “I am delighted that we have formed this strategic partnership. We look forward to working with the BSA to raise the profile of critical business support services, particularly facilities management. The BSA and the BIFM have different remits but where we share a common interest it makes sense to co-operate.”

With over 400 corporate members, both large and smaller enterprises, the BIFM represents a significant section of the supply-side community as well as FM professionals working in-house and for providers.

Mark Fox, BSA Chief Executive, said: “This is an exciting joint initiative and marks an important step change in the way these two organisations work to further mutual interests and the wider industry. I look forward to working with Ian and his team.”
