PFM Awards 2017 will take place in three weeks

11 October 2017

With just three weeks left until the winners of the PFM Awards 2017 receive their trophies, the final preparations are now under way.

All judging visits were completed at the end of last month and the judges have attended their final meeting in London to discuss the winners.

Many of the judges have also accepted PFM's invitation to attend the presentation ceremony on 1 November, which will once again take place at London's The Brewery.

The evening will once again see the venue reach its full capacity of 650 people in attendance.

It has long been recognised as the best networking night of the year, due to the senior roles occupied by a large percentage of attendees.

The PFM Awards are also recognised for maintaining the highest standards, with the judging teams visiting each site of the Partnership finalists to interview clients and services providers and view their successful outcomes.

Entry numbers for this year's event reached a record number, with some categories oversubscribed by a factor of four.

This required considerable effort from the PFM team to identify the shortlist of three finalists within each category.

As a result, several categories saw a high number of points awarded to each finalist and the winners edging ahead by the smallest of margins in some cases.

With social media activity also increasing, anticipation of another successful evening of celebration for the FM sector is building towards the 1 November for this year's PFM Awards.
