Maintenance at DARA

07 February 2008

Integral has won a three year contract worth £450,000 to provide M&E services on the Defence Aviation Repair Agency’s (DARA) Sealand site at Queensferry, North Wales.

The contract was a competitive tender and will bring Integral’s length of unbroken service on the site to nine years. DARA specialises in the maintenance, repair and overhaul of rotary and fixed wing aircraft, avionics, systems and components. Integral’s contract involves providing planned preventative M&E maintenance alongside repair and building work across the site. The equipment to be maintained includes air conditioning units, boilers and several temperature and humidity controlled environments, the maintenance of which is essential to the site’s key operations.

Integral employs over 2,500 people at 15 regional offices and now operates one of the UK’s largest mobile maintenance fleets with more than 1,000 mobile technicians. The contract is being managed out of Integral’s regional office at Llandudno, North Wales.
