New paper towel dispenser system from Metsa Tissue

12 February 2008

Finnish company Metsa Tissue, one of the world's leading manufacturers of quality tissue paper products, has recently introduced a new an extensive range of towel and toilet paper dispensers for use in away-from-home washrooms.

Designed principally for high volume applications, the new Katrin System Dispensers are constructed from durable, easy-to-clean materials and provide an attractive and labour saving solution for busy washrooms which will appeal to both users and facilities providers alike.

The key product in the extensive range is the Katrin mechanical towel dispenser. This efficient unit holds two rolls of paper, each containing enough flat sheets to dry hands up to 450 times with the reserve roll dropping into position once the very last sheet of the first roll has been used. This simple yet effective mechanical feed system ensures zero paper wastage and, at the same time, high standards of hygiene.
In public washroom situations where there is particularly high traffic, for example at a sports centre, the Katrin range also includes an ultra reliable battery powered dispenser which automatically and rapidly presents paper towels for use from large capacity, 800 sheet rolls. This highly efficient and good looking dispenser is capable of drying hands up to 53,000 times on one set of batteries.
