Royal Warrant awarded for space management software

The Royal Warrant awarded to Datacraft Design took effect on January 1st 2008 and lasts for five years. It follows a successful working relationship over the past six years.

Datacraft Design Limited has been granted a Royal Warrant as a Tradesman to Her Majesty The Queen in the capacity of manufacturer and supplier of Space Management Software. The company provides software designed to manage meetings, events, facilities and security, and London-based Datacraft has worked with the Royal Household for six years. The Warrant took effect on 1stJanuary 2008 and is approved for five years.

The grant allows the display of the Royal Arms on stationery, packaging and premises. Royal Warrants are a mark of recognition to people or companies who have regularly supplied goods or services for at least five years to certain members of the Royal Family.

“We are delighted and honoured to receive this grant. It is an outstanding achievement -a reflection of the professionalism of the team here at Datacraft, and the quality of the software solutions we provide,” commented Isobel O’Donnell who, as Managing Director, is the Grantee of the Warrant.

The Grantors, as they are known, are advised by the Lord Chamberlain who is head of the Royal Household and chairman of the Royal Household Tradesmen’s Warrants Committee. The final decision to grant a Royal Warrant is made by the member of the Royal Family concerned. About 800 firms hold Royal Warrants of Appointment. They represent the widest cross-section of British trade and industry (there are a small number of overseas firms).They range from individuals practising traditional crafts to large firms equipped with the latest technology.
