Elior UK to cater for EDF Energy

Avenance, part of Elior UK, has won a new seven year, £multi-million contract with leading energy supplier EDF Energy, providing catering services across 24 UK sites.

Commencing immediately, the contract will see Avenance provide full catering services at 11 sites (many of which are call centres), plus managed hospitality services at 13 subsequent locations in England. In line with Elior’s policy of developing and supporting sustainable catering services and EDF Energy’s own strong commitment to the environment, Avenance will provide food sourced from local suppliers wherever possible and a menu developed around seasonal produce. Healthy eating, recycling and socially responsible initiatives will also be a key focus.

The contract consolidates services currently provided by Baxter & Platt and Aramark, plus an entirely new 13 site service.
