Making service and maintenance pay its way

09 February 2017

Many organisations seeking to reduce energy consumption and carbon emissions are underestimating the value of ongoing after-care to optimise the performance of their heating plant, warns leading heating manufacturer Hoval.

“Having made a major investment in energy-efficient heating plant, some end users are often tempted to tighten their purse strings when it comes to service & maintenance,” observes Hoval’s Ian Dagley.

“Maintenance regimes that just meet regulatory requirements are a false economy that could well increase the lifecycle costs of the equipment.

“In contrast, a comprehensive maintenance strategy will pay its way by ensuring ongoing efficiency and longer plant life, as well as safety and reliability – which all adds up to a better return on investment,” he adds.

To help its customers get the most from their investment, Hoval offers a range of service plans for its gas, oil & biomass boilers, CHP units, solar thermal systems and heat pumps.

Customers can select the plan that best suits their needs and selected contracts include free installation of the TopTronicE Gateway box to provide remote access to plant via the Hoval app.
