Oliver Whitehead joins Norland from Alfred McAlpine

Oliver Whitehead, formerly chief executive and chairman of Alfred McAlpine until its acquisition by Carillion, has joined the board of Norland Managed Services as chairman with effect from January 1st 2008.
The board of Norland Managed Services Ltd is delighted to announce the appointment of Oliver Whitehead as chairman with effect from January 1, 2008. He succeeds William McCall who has been chairman for the last seven years of dramatic growth for the company.
Oliver Whitehead was previously chief executive and latterly chairman of support services group Alfred McAlpine plc (1993-2007) having been chief executive of Babcock International plc. He is currently chairman of property developer Minerva plc and formerly chairman of IT services provider ITnet plc.
