Shadow Minister to open Workplace Futures conference

05 December 2007

Mark Prisk MP, Shadow Minister for Construction and Commercial Property, will be the first speaker to address delegates at January's Workplace Futures event, and heads up a heavyweight panel of speakers.

Workplace Futures, organised by P&FM, i-FM and the Facilities Management Association, is a groundbreaking 'must-do' conference taking place at the London Stock Exchange on 17 January 2008. With a tight focus on being ready for the future when it arrives, the event will address the critical issues facing property and FM, both now and in the run-up to 2012.

Prisk, elected to the Commons in 2001, has held briefs in finance, economic affairs and business & enterprise. As a chartered surveyor, he is keenly interested in both commercial development and environmental protection.

The heavyweight panel of speakers also includes Paul King, Chief Executive, UK Green Building Council; Paul Harrington, Property Director at PwC; Ron Edwards, Category Manager FM, Shell; Chris Davies, CEO, HSS; and Paul Yearley, CEO, Jones Lang LaSalle EMEA IFM.
