MoD Abbey Wood, Bristol

The contract is worth £1.9 million a year for an initial three and a half years and £6.65 million in total, with a possible three year extension. The services will be provided through Debut Services Ltd., and are integrated into the Regional South West Prime contract. Integral already provides similar services under the same contract to the Ministry of Defence sites at Ensleigh, Foxhill, Warminster Road and Westbury-on-Trym.

Integral will be providing planned preventative maintenance (PPM) for all fabric and buildings on site as well as M&E services to cover the maintenance of everything from generators, boilers and air conditioning units to catering equipment, PAT Testing and fire safety services.

The contract will be manned with up to 20 personnel based on site, 13 of which have been TUPE’d over from the previous contract. The manned team will be fully supported by Integral’s mobile maintenance engineers.

Steve Collins, Regional Director for Integral’s South West region comments: “This is a significant contract for Integral and follows on from our success working with Debut Services on our other MOD contracts. We have demonstrated our ability to tailor service delivery to customers’ requirements and to provide complete peace of mind through a successful working partnership.”

Integral won the contract through an e-bidding system, which involved the submission of all asset details and pricing for different aspects of the work.
