Shopping centres adopt Retail Fusion

The Bluewater and Touchwood shopping centres will be the first to embrace Retail Fusion, a new concept in FM and service delivery being pioneered by Vita Lend Lease, Johnson FM and Intelligent Property Group (IPG).

Retail Fusion is an innovative approach to FM and service delivery in shopping centres. This retail-centric business model has been established to deliver a customised and flexible services solution that reflects foot fall, customer spend and the exacting demands of the centres and their retailers.

Retail Fusion brings together the expertise Vita Lend Lease’s in shopping centre ownership and management with Johnson FM’s retailer perspective of facilities and property management. The model is underpinned by fusionmonitor.nettm , a bespoke IT platform developed by IPG for the specialist shopping centre environment.

The Retail Fusion collaboration delivers transparency of operation, enhanced stakeholder communication, flexible and robust financial controls, as well as real-time management reporting.Recognising the many different challenges facing shopping centre operators in an increasingly competitive environment, this new model will set new standards in service levels, improve landlord and tenant communication and boost resource efficiency.
