Shopping Centre maintenance contract

Integral has won the contract to provide building maintenance services for Exeter’s new Princesshay Shopping Centre.

The contract is an interim contract worth £120, 000 which is the initial stage of larger multi-site contract. Princesshay which was officially opened in September 2007 in Exeter’. The new centre covers 529,801 sq ft with over 60 new shops, cafes and restaurants.

Two Integral members of staff are based on site, an M&E Supervisor and a fabric engineer, who are supported by Integral’s 1000-strong low carbon vehicle mobile maintenance team. Integral is providing M&E and fabric maintenance to the landlord services for two office blocks, all of the retail units and a domestic housing development.

The brand new shopping centre still has many contractors on site and Integral is working closely with the different parties to meet the client warranty requirements.

Integral now provides building maintenance services for the three major shopping centres in the South West. These include Drake Circus in Plymouth and the Mall Galleries in Bristol Steve Collins, Integral’s Regional Director commented: ”This latest contract win demonstrates our expertise in this sector and builds on our already strong portfolio of shopping centre clients.
