NG Bailey secures rail contract

The contract worth £36m,will deliver FM to 182 railway stations across London and the south east.

Bailey Maintenance, part of NG Bailey, has won . Key to the contract win was the company’s bespoke offering, to provide each of Southeastern’s 14 station managers with their own specialist FM team. The contract will see Bailey Maintenance provide a range of FM services over a nine-year period, including all mechanical, electrical and fabric maintenance. The company will also be responsible for drainage, vegetation, white and yellow lining and car park maintenance.

Terry Bedford, MD at Bailey Maintenance, says: “We are delighted to have been chosen to provide FM services for Southeastern. The south east is the biggest rail growth area in the UK, with 92,000 new passengers predicted over the next few years. We have aligned our management to Southeastern’s, which will ensure each station manager receives a bespoke FM solution, tailored to their specific needs.”

Bailey Maintenance’s other rail clients, includes TransPennine Express, One Rail and First Capital Connect.
