Surrey and Borders NHS Trust contract awarded

19 April 2016

A five year contract to deliver hard FM services to Surrey and Borders Partnership NHS Foundation Trust has been awarded to Bouygues.

This will see the company provide the trust - one of the leading providers of specialist mental health, drug and alcohol and learning disability services in southern England - with building and engineering maintenance services.

Bouygues will also supply equipment maintenance, emergency response, grounds maintenance, energy management/energy efficiency and minor works services.

The trust's current estate portfolio comprises 45 sites and 102 buildings.

Its director of estates and facilities, Chris Rivers, commented on the competitive tendering process and Bouygues' track record for providing "good customer service across the health sector", described as "very impressive".

Bouygues Energies & Services contract director Simon Hayman said: "We have a lot of experience across the health sector and look forward to sharing our knowledge, skills and expertise with the trust."
