Description : Our client is a specialist in commercial property management, acquisitions, sales and property leasing. They work with investors and occupiers of office, retail and industrial properties to maximise the investment and operational value of real estate globally. Due to growth they are now seeking a Divisional Director to manage a multi-disciplinary team on a nationwide investment portfolio spanning all sectors.
The position is based in London and manages a team of management surveyors across the UK. This team manages one of our client’s most established and largest accounts with a broad remit. They provide complete Property Management services throughout the UK including facilities management.
Within property management they have a number of client specific teams specialising in providing a quality service to their large client base. This is a senior role within the property services division and will involve working closely with a Director, managing the day to day running of the team and managing a portfolio of commercial properties as well as developing client relationships to create opportunities for further expansion of the team.
The Person
We are seeking an ambitious, experienced real estate individual with a background as a surveyor/property manager. Ideally you will be operating at a similar level (surveyor/property manager, associate or partner) or have the potential to step up. The successful candidate will be expected to take an active role in building relationships with clients, and will possess the following qualities:
• Proven experience in commercial Property Management
• Combining strong team ethos with independence
• Innovative problem solver, with interest in current market and professional trends
• IT Literate and numerate
• Ability to foster client and in-house relationships
• Willing to become involved in mentoring and training others within the team
A track record with large investor clients would be ideal, as would experience in mobilising and managing major service charge properties.
Full driving licence is required.
