My client a $multi-billion global workplace solutions provider engage with major global brands in all sectors, providing real estate, facilities management, project management and energy solutions. They bring ingenuity to the places where people live, work and travel. By integrating technologies, products and services, they create smart environments that redefine the relationships between people and their surroundings. Due to extensive growth they are seeking to recruit a sales focused Business Development director with a strong focus on the industrial market.
This is an exciting opportunity for a Business Development Director Global to join their team where you can be based either in the UK or globally. The successful candidate will develop the overall strategy and value propositions to acquire new relationships. They are looking for a high calibre individual to lead and motivate teams in the development of tailored integrated solutions to win new business with both new and existing corporate customers within their industrial sector.
The successful candidate will be a seasoned senior director, with experience as an outsourcing sales leader and have a demonstrable track record of achieving growth. The role will encompass regular travel internationally. You must have a successful background developing teams and selling outsourced services on a global footprint with a successful track record of closing multi-million pound contracts with ‘C’ level contacts. Your background must be with a leading outsourcing solutions provider such as; Real Estate, Facilities Services, Infrastructure, Consultancy (ideally top 5), or leading B2B business services organisation where there is a Worldwide remit. Experience or knowledge of the industrial market is highly desirable.

Successful candidates must have the following experience:
? Proven experience within the outsourcing arena as a Sales Director with a demonstrable track record of over achieving and closing multi-million pound deals at a global level
? Development of national or multinational opportunities
? Strong management skills with a proven record of leading, motivating and empowering others in order to reach individual and company objectives
? Successful track record of managing and developing a business operation with multi-site/cultural responsibility
? Development of client relationships to achieve the highest levels of customer services
? Ability to present information to variety of audiences
? Build and execute a strategy with a Global remit
? Understands complex change and able to work within a matrix organisation
? Operating at Board level both internally and externally
