Description : We are currently recruiting for a Procurement Manager for a large, well respected Total FM company. The role is initially for a 6 month period with every possibility that the successful candidate will be taken on a permanent basis after this period. The ideal candidate will have previous experience as a Procurement Manager in an FM environment. Responsibilities and criteria include - Procurement / Commercial Skills Procurement and strategic sourcing experience ideally across the following categories: - Facilities management, Mechanical & Electrical maintenance, Building maintenance, Interior refurbishments & Capital projects. Strong project management skills and proven experience of delivering high & low value capital projects. Experience of obtaining & sourcing competitive quotes from contractors as necessary Relationship Management Skills Ability to build & manage external relationships with senior account managers of key suppliers Ability to manage senior key internal stake holders & consultants Ability to strategically and operationally manage key service providers / contracts Contract / Supplier Management Skills Ability to strategically implement and manage contract SLA’s, KPI’s and PPM schedules Proven experience & desire to get ‘stuck in’ and manage / resolve day to day issues Ability to establish & maintain a full and formal written audit trail Responsibility for key building risk assessments. Manage the environmental impact (e.g. carbon reduction and sustainable materials in refurbishment and construction) of service providers General Skills Highly developed and proven: - Commercial skills Proven project management skills Advanced problem solving skills Strong oral and written communication skills Administration & analytical skills Ability and drive to work without supervision Financial / budget planning and management skills.
