Description : A financial organisation is looking for a Vendor Manager to be based at their York office. Primarily responsible for the ongoing development, execution and governance of our clients International's Vendor Management policies and procedures. Responsible for ensuring end to end compliance with the company's Vendor Management Process as defined for their International business model in conjunction with Corporate Vendor Management. The scope of the role includes, but is not limited to, maintaining a comprehensive database of company International Vendors, ensuring that vendors meet client and regulatory requirements; working with Corporate Vendor Management on strategic direction and opportunities; securing cost reductions by rationalising vendors, identifying and taking action on appropriate contractual opportunities to leverage price and service improvements in relation to vendor goods and services; leveraging the company's global purchasing power; establishing requirements for vendor selection and approval in conjunction with Procurement; mitigating risk by assisting Procurement in negotiating vendor contracts, and monitoring and taking appropriate action on such contract terms to ensure that all company terms and conditions continue to be met and risks and costs avoided. Experience of working in a Vendor Management role is essential, preferably in a financial or adjacent sector. CVs to ed@c22.co.uk
