Metzger strengthens capability with new consultant hire

27 July 2015

Search and selection specialist Metzger has announced the appointment of new consultant Michelene McCann, who brings to her role more than ten years’ experience in the contract cleaning and FM sectors

Originally from South Africa, Michelene joins the company at a time of steady growth and will become a key member of the Metzger team, focusing on operations and helping to drive and support new business.  She is highly experienced as a recruiter within facilities services, with her previous roles including Operations Manager within the Supercare Services Group (part of Compass), one of SA’s largest specialist outsourcing companies specialising in contract cleaning and hygiene solutions.

Managing director of Metzger Lorraine Thomas says: “We are delighted to welcome Michelene on board and her background, skills and passion for the job really set her apart as a candidate.  It’s an exciting time for the business as Metzger continues to build on its core markets and with the opening of our new London office earlier this year and the further enhancing of our consultancy team, Michelene is the ideal person to enhance our capability and support growth.”

Commenting, Michelene adds: “Metzger has an excellent reputation within the cleaning and FM industries and I’m excited about my new role and the potential ahead. Having met with the senior team it became clear that there was the chance to be a part of a growing business and I look forward to working with the Metzger team.”
