Mitie secures planned works contract with L&Q Housing Trust

25 June 2015

Mitie has been appointed by London Quadrant Housing Trust to deliver internal planned refurbishment works in London as a part of a four-year framework worth up to £8m per annum

As part of the contract, Mitie’s planned works team will be installing kitchens, bathrooms and other internal improvements within L&Q’s housing stock.

Mitie has already successfully delivered large programmes of work for L&Q Housing Trust in the last two years through the framework contract awarded in 2013.  Mitie was originally awarded one area (hub) but secured two hubs through mini-tender in 2014 as a result of performance in the previous year.

Mitie has re-secured works for the Stratford and Garratt Hubs in east London and south London respectively. Pre-construction activities will commence in late spring 2015 with the works being delivered throughout the year.

Marcus Cox, Director within Mitie’s Property Management business said: “These results demonstrate the continued success of our planned works teams and our ability to forge strong and collaborative relationships with our clients.

“Mitie has continued to demonstrate the value we provide and this has been recognised in the award of works with L&Q.”
